Memorial Day is a day to remember and honor our Veterans, kick-off summer and spend time with family and friends. In order to do these three things, there are a lot of festivals, ceremonies, cruise-ins and more to do in or near Clemson this weekend. Below is a list of all of the Memorial Day Happenings in or near Clemson this weekend. May 27, 2016
Seneca Fest 2016 (3pm – 10:30pm)

Glow in the Night 5K and Fun Run – Shaver Recreation Center

Long Creek Music Festival (Begins at 6pm)
Located at: Chattooga Resorts
3 Days (May 27-May 29) of incredible music and camping in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains. US Disc Dog Nationals (USDDN) World Championship Toss and Fetch Qualifier
Super-Pro, Pro, Novice and Junior Divisions
($15 per dog registration fee)

Breakfast Buffet at The Orchard House ($13.95 – adults, $7.95 – children)
Slip’N’Slide at The Great Lawn

Seneca Fest 2016 (11am – 5pm, Live Entertainment begins at 6pm)
Located in: Downtown Seneca
Join us for the 10th Annual Seneca Fest in historic Downtown Seneca and come prepared for a great time! There will be live music and carnival rides, as well as Arts and Crafts from the Blue Ridge Arts Center.

Clemson Clash 2016 (Registration begins at 8:30am, Competition starts at 10am)
Located at: W.C. Nettles Park
The UpDog Challenge
(Fun Key, Frizgility, Four Way Play and Time Warp)
These games combine the dog sports of agility and disc and are lots of fun!
($12 online or $14 onsite or register for all 4 events online for $40)

Memorial Day Weekend (9am – 3pm)

Pool Party, featuring Jumping Jukebox DJ

Remembering the Fallen – Memorial Service (4pm – 5:30pm)
Located at: Clemson University
The memorial service will feature patriotic songs, a 21-gun salute and remarks by Chaplin Lieutenate Colonel (Retir.) Eric Turner.  Turner, a 1982 Clemson graduate, served tours of duty in Germany, Iraq and Afgahistan.

3rd Annual Memorial Day Fest (10am – 4pm)
Located at: Aunt Sue’s Country Corner
Find great music, food and activities at the Memorial Day Fest at Aunt Sue’s Country Corner on scenic Highway 11.

Memorial Day Ceremony (11:45am – 12:45pm)
Located at: Six Mile Town Hall
The Town of Six Mile will conduct a Memorial Day ceremony honoring those that gave the ultimate sacrifice on Monday, May 30 at 11:45 A.M. in front of Town Hall.  The ceremony will be officiated by Fleet Reserve Association Branch 15.  The public is cordially invited to attend.
