Located on previous Cherokee Native American hunting grounds, the small town of Liberty, SC is rooted in history of the natives as well as the Civil War era. While expanding beyond these eras, the town progressed into a textile area to become the home of many cotton mills. Presently, Liberty is the home of unique shops, restaurants, and community centers for activities.
